Rob is a full time commercial and landscape photographer based on the shores of Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands. Much of the commercial work revolves around the built environment whilst his passion in landscapes incorporates the human element, particularly focussing on the impact of past populations and cultures on the land.
Rob cut his teeth as an expedition photographer working in the 90s on film in the Amazon and Arctic, shooting Nikkormat and Canon 35mm systems. He now works in both digital and film formats as well as hand processing and printing in a physical darkroom.
He is slightly obsessed with the panoramic format.
