Hi, I'm Mary 👋, a photographer based in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, available for photography services across the surrounding areas.
From the age of six, when I received a Kodak camera for my birthday, I was hooked on photography. Whether capturing images of animals, seizing opportunities to create once-in-a-lifetime photographs, or simply preserving a special moment, I have travelled the world in pursuit of the perfect shot and loved every moment of it. Although I may have felt differently when getting up at 3 a.m. to capture a sunrise!
In recent years, I joined the Guild of Photographers and continued to develop my skills, achieving my Craftsmanship qualification.
I am also a Licentiateship and Associateship member of the British Institute of Professional Photographers (BIPP) and have received numerous accolades, including Images of the Day, Bronze and Silver awards.
I was also runner-up in the Scotland and Northern Ireland region of the BIPP in two categories and have been a finalist in the Visual Arts Open.
I am particularly proud to have had my artwork displayed in exhibitions across Europe and the United States, most recently at the Artbox Basel exhibition at Basel Airport.
