Congratulations to David Rippin with this winning image. David from North Yorkshire, England has won 12 months membership to The Societies of Photographers.

David tells us about the image ''To give you a bit more information, this pic was shot in February 2015 on a long walk in the English Lake District known as the 'Newlands Horseshoe' or the 'Newlands Round', This shot shows us nearing the summit of 'Catbells', and Derwent Water is the lake you can see in the image. The shot was taken just before 9am, so towards the beginning of our walk. There were 5 of us on the walk, and you can see one of my friends in the image.

It was shot on a Nikon D300 with an 18-70mm lens. It was shot at 18mm, ISO 200, f10, 1/640s.''
