Jonathan tells us ''The image was taken earlier this year on a trip to Lille, and with a Panasonic DMC-GX7 with 12-32mm zoom lens set at 32mm. This is a camera/lens combination that I find ideal for street photography - just about small enough to fit into a (large) coat pocket! Aperture was pre-set at f5.6 for sufficient depth of field and a fast enough speed (1/640). I only had a few seconds to make the picture before the students saw me and started to wave!''
