Hi, I'm Clare 👋, a photographer based in Port Erin, Isle of Man, England, available for photography services across the surrounding areas.
Originally from Wirral, England, Clare Payne relocated to the Isle of Man in 2002 and now lives in Port Erin with her husband and two children.
Clare works primarily in oil, watercolour and pencil, specialising in drawings and paintings inspired by wildlife, natural history and the sea.
As a BSc Zoology honours graduate, natural history and the environment have always been central to Clare's creative work. Her passion for the natural world led to her becoming the inaugural Manx Wildlife Trust Biosphere Artist in Residence for 2022–23, a role through which she inspired people to engage with and take action for nature through art.
Clare describes herself as an “artivist”, using her artwork to promote wildlife conservation and raise awareness of environmental projects around the world.
