''I had been inside the enclosure for the Taj Mahal, I wanted another perspective. Getting around the outside of the place is not easy, and it was very hot and humid, but I found these boys swimming; to them, this was their river (Yamuna River) and the fact it flows beneath the shadow of a world icon was probably of little interest to them. They hammed it up for my benefit when they saw the camera - Indians do not mind being photographed - and there was the picture.''
