My name is Grant Burchill and I am a photographer based in Bromley, Kent, specialising in portrait and landscape photography.
My portrait photography focuses on capturing the character and individuality of people, while my landscape work aims to capture the serenity and beauty of nature in a way that inspires both emotion and imagination.
I am a Licentiate and qualified member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (LSWPP) and also hold a Professional Diploma in Photography.
My passion for photography began when I was just 10 years old and received my first camera. I was immediately hooked by the imagination and creativity that photography inspired in me. This was back in the days of 12, 24 and 36 exposure film, when photographs had to be sent away and you could wait one or two weeks to receive your prints.
I still remember the excitement of waiting for the postman to arrive, wondering whether my photographs would be delivered that day. More than 30 years later, I still experience that same anticipation when viewing my photographs on my computer for the first time.
