Mr greatest strengths: Instinct, patience and empathy

I been a photographer: 11 years with film and after a 10-15 year gap a further 13 years with digital.

How did you get started: I bought my first SLR, a Prakitca with my first weeks wages in 1978 and taught myself how to use it with books and magazines. I bought a 300mm lens after around six months and started photographing motor sport, purely for pleasure.

The area I cover is: Worldwide

My key skills and abilities: I'm observant, seeing possible images in the world around me. I have yet to learn to "see in black and white". I'm a people person and find a great deal of pleasure in revealing a lot about a person by means of a still image.
